DON'T REMOVE THE BAFFLE!!!!!!!!

It doesn't add any performance. The muffler is designed with chambers, which the exhaust is flowed around in. So even if you remove the baffle it still has to flow through those chambers. There is NO horsepower gain, and honestly it sounds like complete crap. Like a baby farting under-water.

I went through that phase, and hated it so much I welded the baffle back in until I got an aftermarket exhaust:grr:

It does add a bit of exhaust flow as the spark arrestor is screen type and is restrictive.

It would creat a +1 maybe +2 in jet size, but like stated not worth the noise. Its freakin loud that way and isnt the coolest thing around for ppl riding behind you or if you dont have a bucket on.

Leave the baffle in and love it lol.

Or just get a slip on exhaust or if funds allow a full exhaust.

It's a screen type but the screen doesn't go in the exhaust path, it goes around the outside of the whole.

Yeah but they are two different louds. The baffle removed, sounds like such CRAP it gives people headaches and is super annoying. Aftermarket exhaust pipes sound a lot more refined and have a nice rumble to them.

Please don't pull the baffle. It DOES NOT add power and WILL sound like crap...:ermm:
