I want to convert

I thinking of converting 07er to kick start and want to keep ele.start can I use the kicker parts off of my 05 parts motor. Someone told me cam would have to be changed? also thinking of adding extra batt. so starting is faster on dead eng. starts. could use any help or suggestions.

Some of the parts from an 05 will fit, some won't. I know the output shaft is too short, and there are a couple other small parts that won't work. The cam won't have to be changed.

The kicker is good for a backup. But if you really want it fire quick, add that second battery like you were talking about.
