i want to change my 08 fenders with some older 400ex fender like a 2002.
will it work ??
i know i wud have to change my seat with a older model

Will have to weld in brackets for older plastic to fit as the points are all different.

I would trade you my 05's in a heartbeat:) I love the 08 fenders.

have to change your gas tank as well

I am serious though. I would trade ALL my 05 components. Fenders, seat, hood, headlight, and maybe even brackets for your fenders, seat, hood, headlight, and brackers. LOL

Im pretty sure the gas tanks are the same. I have a 02 and a 08 and gas tanks look identical.

they look similar but if your were to put 08 fenders on a 99-04 or 05-07 tanks then it will look gapped and sloppy round the tank. IMO if your going to do a job, do it right.

PA. I wouldn't mind shipping my stuff out though. I've shipped plastics before for my blaster and such.
