Is one 'better' then the other for one reason or another? Fit, finish etc?

the clarke does.

The clarke will require you to trim your plastics if you want a perfect fit, only with fullbores tho. (at least in my experience)

Just an FYI there are 3 IMS desert tanks and 1 clarke so it depends on which you are comparing.

I've had 2 of the IMS and 1 clarke.

I like both IMS tanks better cause they fit better and are stubbier.

The clarke tank is really tall and makes it harder to turn fast with it, but the colors are better.

IMS has a wierd dark red and the blue is kinda pale chalky blue, clarke tank color is more like OEM, they are shiny vs IMS which are kinda matte.
