My crankcase is leaking oil out somewhere onmy sprocket side of the motor. Does the seal around the clutch cable go bad very often? It looks like it is coming from there but I can't exactly see where its coming from. I don't think its coming from anything lower on the motor than that. Is there anywhere else I should look?

It could be coming from the seal behind the sprocket. Either way, they are both easy to swap out. To get the clutch arm out of the case, you have to remove the push rod that goes through to the clutch.

I'm almost sure its the clutch seal. There is a lot of oil on top on the cases and I think thats where its coming from. Thanks for the help!

It could also be the timing chain tensioner seals, if it's on top of the case.

The oil is coming out of that hole by my starter. Is there supposed to be a bolt or anything in that hole?

Yeah I kinda figured that. Is there anything special that could have fallen out or is it just a bolt and a crush washer?
