selling my 2001 400ex, the engine is built.
copied from my craigslist ad....
2001 Honda trx400ex, Is now a 461ex Engine was BUILT professionally, too much to list, but will try. +4mm stroke, bored to 89mm, thus 461cc. larger stud kit installed, head is ported/polished, hi-flow valve job (5 angle), + 1mm valves, head and trans parts chryo'd (cryogenically frozen), guides replaced and shortened to increase flow, 440 eichner series edelbrock carb, different ignition box to add 1k rpm, and also change ignition curve, hot cams stg 2cam, and hot rods (+4mm)crank, custom l.r.d. spec piston with anti-friction coating on skirt and sides of piston, also anti heat coating on piston top 12.5:1 comp., external oil cooler, K&N filter (have 2, will give both with it) and outerwears for filters, different front sprocket, dirt racer clutch, white brothers pro-meg full race exhaust system, power shifter shift lever, umracing air scoops. unit has been dyno'd, have several of the specs/runs and graphs has only had about 3 tanks of fuel since engine was done, always changed oil after every ride, all mods were done @ 20-30 hours, now has about 40-50 hours max, just wanted to go faster and have a sleeper. also has nerf bars, and renthal handle bars. Is awesome in the trails, can hang with the 450's, total sleeper, but nice predictable power and torque curve. clean and low hours, you can tell quad looks better than any other 400ex in the same price range, and this is faster. ready to ride. $2200. p.m. if interested or post here.
