will a 99-04 400ex swing arm fit a 2005 400ex

i have found an inexpensive swing arm off an older 400 ex i think it is a 2001 and i was wondering if you could just swap it out for the one on the 2005 model. my barring carrier got all messed up and found the whole swing arm with barring carrier for cheap. Please let me know if it is compatible.

honestly basically everything is compatible on most years, the only thing that i can think of that isnt compatible is the 08 and 09 plastics, thats it. i just replaced my swingarm, i have a 2000 and i used an 05 swinger

What killer said! I think also the wiring harnesses are different for the reverse. Other than that I believe All suspension components are the same.
