houser double row bearing carrier

I just bought a new Houser rear axel double row bearing carrier for my 2005 trx 450r. For the life of me I can not get the rear sprocket or rear brake disc seal to seat inside the bearing carrier. Should I use heat or is something wrong with the Houser unit? I have tried grease wd40 and a rubber mallet. It looks like the dust seals inside the Houser carrier are to small n diameter.

Help please
