I've been looking at those bolt kits on ebay, and I've done plenty of searches on here about everybody's opinions of them. I'm well aware of the pros/cons of stainless fasteners vs. high grade zinc plated steel, and would actually prefer the steel.

There's a 220pc grade 10.9 250r kit on ebay for right around $50 bones, and the fasteners are all stock flange type. What I'm wondering is what this particular kit DOESN'T include, as the stainless kits for $120 are like 600+ pieces.

Either way it's a deal compared to buyng them new from Honda dealer.

Has anybody bought the steel fastener kit?

I've bought them all. The SS allen ones are junk IMO - it's a very complete kit but they are soft and bend very easily and don't take well to pounding on them.

The other kits are good bolts but very incomplete - the majority of the pieces are filler like washers and tiny screws and cotter pins etc.

Depending on your purpose you're better off to just go through the microfische and pick out the bolts you need and pay the ridiculous prices honda charges cause at least they are good and will last 20+ years.
