Circlip (outer)

mine came off on my 06 how hard and where does it hook back up

its a clip in between the rotor and swing arm thats all i know i have no idea where it came off or nothing like that

is it about 3 inches in diameter? if so, thats what holds the brake stay and it also holds the carrier in. if you have everything off, except the brake stay, look at the outer edge of the carrier, you'll see what i mean. theres an arrow pointing to where it fits into.

i cant even see where it hooks in but i did see what i think is a o ring but i have not takin anything apart yet

so what all would you say to do to fix this?

make sure the carrier is all the way in, because even when it is, it hardly sticks out enough to get the ring on. also, make sure the area is clean and theres no dirt where the ring sits. if you don't have them, make it easy on yourself and get a pair of snap ring pliers.

i just went out side and i tried to find that lip you were talkin about and i didnt see it i tried pushing the axle to c if it would line up and nothing tho

also i have a pair of those all ready i just cant find where it hooks on to
