I have an '05 Z400 with the stock rims and tires on the front and back. The front tire is a 22x7x10 which means the rim is 10" and on the back 20x10x9 which means the rim is 9". So i have been looking at new rims and tires, and some claim they fit my ride, but are not the same size as the ones i have now. My question is, is there multiple size tires/rims that will fit my quad or do i have to stick to the stock size? Thanks.

your right 9 is the rim size and to is the tire height and 10 is the width and your tire sizes you can get are 20-11-9 22-11-9 or stock 20-10-9 22-10-9 as long as its a 9 inch rim it will most likely fit but 20-11-9 is most common and easy to find. and up front i'm not possitive about about it but im preatty sure you can get 23-7-10 but other than that i think stock is what size you get

you dont have to stick to stock size tires or rims as long as the tire fits the rim and the rim fits the quad they will mount up but be aware the bigger the rears the more it takes to get them spinning i have multilple sets from 18/8/8(ice) to 21/9/9(snow) to 20/10/9 (summer) oh yeah got a nother set coming for flat tracking 18/10/10 in the rear i have different sprocket combos for them also
