Here is the reason I ask. There is a company there called CFM Performance and the make aluminum air boxes for 400ex’s. I have contacted them about custom making one for the 300. I was told that they could make one but they just need a 300 to get all of the measurements and whatnot. I am in NC so there in no way I can get mine up there. This would be a good opportunity for someone who wants an aluminum air box on their 300. This box will allow you to mount the battery and all of the electronics inside of it with the filter, cleaning up the rear of the bike. Nobody else that I can find offers a box like this. Let me know if you would be willing to turn your 300 over to them for a bit to make these. Thanks
