250x brake calipers

any body know what brake calipers can I put on an 87 TRX250X? Iam looking to replace the calipers on front and back. Will 300EX or 400EX calipers work as easy bolt on? thanks for helping

Funny you ask this. I just put 400ex (round headlight style) front calipers on my 250x. The 300ex parts are the same as 250x as well. Hope this helps!

Do I need the 400-300EX caliper brackets from the donors, or is the 250 brackets the same? Hey while were on the subject of swaping out parts, do you know if 300-400EX plastics will fit the 250X?

300 plastics will fit right on 400ex/250r will with slight modification

and by the way any plastic off a bigger quad will fit on a smaller one with some sort of modification
