450R Carb on 300

Right now I am running a 400 carb but has anyone tried the 450 carb? I hear the 450 carb is a good addition to the 400's.

its overkill, 400ex is as big as youll ever need....

the 400ex carb is far to small for a built 300ex, it just doesn't flow the velocity of a good aftermarket carb, the 450r carb would be good on a big piston motor if u had it set up to rev high, otherwise its too much gas. it would be a full top end motor with that carb and have almost no low end.
