i currently have the shock mount relocater and stock 400ex a arms, but i want it to be a little wider, could i just buy 400ex standard travel +2 a arms

yes any 400ex a arms will fit even long travel

u could do this...

250r plus 3 arms with 450r shocks......that would make ur 300ex plus 6 on each side..a whole 12 inches wider
