I was having a hard time getting our viper dialed in after installing a pipe as some of you may remember..We went up to the cottage and finally got it running good with good acceleration out of the hole..It ran good for one day and then lost power and would hardly pull itself...It would start and idle fine but just had no power..I removed the 24mm kiehin carb and tried the stock carb again with no change....I thought the spark looked weak so I bought a new stator and installed it...Still no power...Hmmmmm....The only part that I kept reusing was the outwear over top of the two different sized UNI filters....I removed the filter totally and started the engine and it revved cleanly and sounded good.....The outwear was causing the problems all along...I cleaned it out and reinstalled and all was good.....A very expensive lesson learned... :grr:
