Tranny whining, what's up?

Just noticed that my tranny sounds a little too loud when I spin the back tires while I have it up on the lift. Doesn't seem to have a problem when it's running but I'm wondering if maybe a bearing might be getting wore out or something, Anyone else ever noticed a whining noise, not clunking or metal to metal? Just wondering if I should just swap the thing before going racing Saturday....Jeff

Might not be a bearing. I would check the oil level they dont hold much.

I religously change the fluid after every race, even changed it twice since last race ( was only ridden for about an hour on that fluid). Use only Amsoil Super shift. Gonna run it up to KoolKidz tomorrow night to see if I can get it checked out.....thanks, Jeff
