Yeah the front plastic is a little bit sun faded, but its only cosmetic. The rear plastic was replaced at one time. When I got it it had no grab bar so I imagine someone flipped it and destroyed the rear plastic. But your looking @ a 22 year old quad so its expected. I think no one bid it up because the guy didn't clean it, he just pulled it out of a storage container and took pictures with it still dirty. If I come accross some stock fenders I may pick them up. Then it would be to nice to ride *lol*

I would try some plastic renew first before I spent the bucks on OEM fenders. If its just sun fade and not all cracked and stratched up you prolly could polish it out with the plastic renew kit, take some elbow grease but save you in the long run.

Are you guys sure the owner before him just didn't spray paint everything it make it look it has "hardly been riden?" I mean look the the cases and the front wheels.. it kinda looks like spay paint, doesn't it? And why is the frame so nice up front where as the a-arms are beat to hell? It is, however, a nice bike! :eek2:

No it wasn't spray painted, The front wheels yes, why I have no clue. I'm not stupid. I know what a refurbished R looks like. All the decals on the chassis are there, the tabs under the frame where the rake is aren't even dented. Normaly they are either smashed or ripped off. I've been around ATVs since the late 80's, This was the second owner, it originated out of New york and I picked it up in Vermillion Ohio. It was on the original bore with the stock piston. I however put a new Top end on it and main bearings. The piston was still in its service limit also, but being a meticuloust person and knowing the quads age I did a little freshening up. I was given the stock Pipe and silencer with it and its even near perfect. So whatever you may want to think, or believe I could care less.

just put a coat of Mop N Glow on the fenders, it did wonders to my faded stockers!
