leakin gas

alright so my r is finnaly done first time I ride it after full rebuikd it starts leakin gas from the overflow?

is it a slow leak? or iss it kind of fast? try taping the carb with wood or somthing

and if that doesnt work. take and shut the pet cock off and drain the carb bowl, then flood the carb again with fuel while slightly tappin on the carb.

now its not leaking anymore i tghink its cause i left my gas on and the carb had way to much gas?

thats just it....... the float isnt shutting the fuel off once the float reaches level.
