Whats with the Heel Guards!?

So my Heel Guards are a little beat up, so i started looking around for a new set because i cant stand it with just the pegs. I looked at about 5 different websites that sell the factory/OEM parts. The Heel Guards are $100 A PIECE, or more! Whats with that? I can get a SET of polished alloy guards for under $100! $200 for a set of stock ones is rediculous. Does anyone know what the deal is with these things? And does anyone know where i can get some cheap ones?

Yeah BRAND NEW OEM parts can be stupid expensive. If your just wanting stockers look around the for sale section or ebay.

I made my own home made heal guards with a weight limit 10 ton sign from my road cut it in half and bent it about 3/4 the way up and they work great and are much better than spending 100$ cuz their free
