This would be our 2nd trip to the z-broz compound, last year we were there Kelsey was due for clavical surgery the day after . :ermm:

This trip was much more eventful! :p We had a SUPER fun weekend riding and just hanging out and had a cookout at Fabricator Glenn Floyds home (btw, this due cooks up some MEAN London broil!) with all the gang at Z-broz racing. We were there to test and tune mini suspension as well as a couple other projects were working on and test a Raptor 250's as well. Unfortunately, the Raptor ended up being held up out of State for the weekend.

At any rate, we got alot of valueable seat time in and got alot of suspension dialed in.
Thought I might share a couple pics from the weekend. We got a late start so the sun just seemed to follow me in all the wrong places for shooting pics but at least we didnt have too much dust for such a hot day.

Id like to say thanks to Renegade Powersports for being so kind to reserve there facility for us for the day.We got ALOT accomplished not having to be on a time frame and could ride at leasure on a watered track.
Renegade has a small amusement park around there large facility but the rides I think are now shut down.

Temps were mighty warm,so a watered facility came in very handy!

Kelsey wasnt feeling too good over the weekend, so a good 15 laps in and she was done for the day .

Im really glad we brought her quad along to play for the day... she was struggling on alot of the kickers and the jumps take offs on her rear end.

She wasnt feeling so confident and about balled it up a time or two.
Mike Hallock watched her ride for a bit and said it needed a quick trip into the shop.....

Mike said "Now you have no excuse to ride like a girl" :blah:

The guys werent really sure if he would be able to clear alot of the jumps they had at this track, but would still be a great place to test.

OK for Brandon, that came off as a challenge LOL... :p

By lap 2 he was clearing every single one of them . :macho

Awesome pics! I love Logan also! You can go up in the mountains and cool off, down in the desert and warm up....or go visit Great Salt Lake for the day. And oooohhh the trout streams are unreal! I'd be in heaven, but the wife doesn't wanna live that far away from home.

If you ever go back to Logan, ask for directions to Logan Canyon. From the mouth of the canyon, go almost exactly 7 miles and there will be a sharp right hand onto a paved side road. Take that road all the way (stay to the right) and there will be a camping area and an LDS Stake House. The camping is first come, first served, but there's usually a spot available. If you ride past the Stake House, it turns to gravel and goes up into the mountains and turns into several separate marked trails. Most trails are large enough for a Rhino, and the scenery is incredible.

thats some sweet scenery!!
Thanks for the info! We asked the guys about some local racing and trail riding,we justt have to go back when we have more time.
One of the Z-broz guys is a Pro snowmobile hill climber and knows all the hot spots in the area. He told me about 25 miles back from where we were there was still some snow, we seen a few caps from the valley. Id LOVE to go shoot some snow shots up there tossing around the sleds.
The only other real scenery I have got to ever take in was on our way to a WORCS race in Monitcello. Harlen went to Moab and took a train(Pappy, remember his rattlesnake story in the dark lost LOL!) very beautiful country!

Could you tell me what month that photo was taken you posted with the field of flowers?

Sweet pics. That track is in Logan? If so I'm gonna have to go check it out. About a 45 min drive from my place. It's amazing how accustomed you get to driving by places that you never notice how nice it is. I'm used to the scenary in Utah so I don't think it's much of a sight but people who aren't really enjoy it.

Yeah, I guess the dealership just started putting it in ,its not too big but still a place to test.. they had a section of it closed off that was sandy ,they didnt want it tore up and saved for the bikes I think.
Its just a pay to play for a day track ,no racing on it as of yet. Id call ahead to get more details from Renagade. ;)

I hear the same thing about Idaho, but since Ive been here my whole life, I find it rather boring anymore. lol :p
