What year wiring harness do I have?

I am building an 88 250r. I bought a brand new light switch for an 88 250r and the wiring harness was used from ebay also listed for an 88 250r. My problem is that the plugs do not match as you can see in the picture. Does anybody know if the light switch is wrong or if the wiring harness is from a different year. Thanks for your help. The light switch was bought from service honda so I am assuming it is correct.

If I remember correctly, all the switch assemblies have the same plug. Looks to me like the harness is wrong. Possibly not from a 250R.

thats a 85 or 86 atc harness, however there is one wire missing, a black w/ white stripe that is for the kill switch. On the atc harness the plug is in the main harness and only the switch plugs in. If yours isn't like that, somebody hacked it up already. What cdi do you have? is it a round plugs or 2 plugs w/ a square 4 pin and rectangle 2 pin and has ha2 cf 502? The round cdi plug is a 85 and dual cdi plugs are 86. Where is the leads for a regulator? it is on the back on the left side on atc's and is 2 female plugs, trx is next to the cdi and has a rectangle 2 pin plug.
