Put my 87 rims and tires on today. Cracked my front and rear rims over the weekend. To me it doesn't look as bad I thought with the orange. What do you guys think? Let me know.

You know man, I like it!!! It gives your quad that old school retro look. Kinda makes me want to put some on mine.

The only thing I worry about is beating them up. They're in nice shape but I need something if I want to ride.

I think it looks really good. The gold really helps to set off the all the black.

they look good but i bet that set would be worth a pretty penny to a collector.

wow those are mint! looks bad *** but you will loose money by dingig them up. i would put them in a dark place on a shelf to keep ther rubber good and save those! there already prolly worth a bunch!

I'd be interested in those if they look as good close up.

It would be easy enough to get a set of blue label Douglas wheels and have them powdercoated gold, then you could save those originals....

I don't mind the look. Different. Not spectacular, just different and pleasing to the eye.

better yet: get some aftermarket or new take off wheels and get them anodized. will be pricey but closer to oem instead of powdercoating

Being a machinist and having alot of friends that own shops I could prob have them anodized for next to nothing.

i'm going with the majority on this.............. they look good on there but as good a shape they are in i'd have to store them and put some aftermarkets on.
