It looks like something could be bolted up under the tool kit. Anyone have pics of cheap replacement?

if you want to buy some good leds from somwhere and wire those up, you can just drill small 5mm holes in the tool kit thing, and just glue them in there and that would probably look pretty good too.

my 400 just has a semi running light wired to th original brake wire a srewed to a piece of plastic, works.

i strongly dislike where the stock location of the brake light is on the 450 because if you ride a wheelie and come too far back kiss it goodbye...i ripped off mine on my 450 rockin a wheelie and got a lil slap happy. it even messed up the plug itself up. but you can find all kinds of lights to replace the stocker just wire them in to work
