i have some kind of stroker crank or rod or something i dont know if its a hot rods crank or if its just the rod my question is is there more then one size of rod they make? i know its longer then stock i have a spacer plate an i dont know what piston to order... iv been looking for info for like an hour hhahaha

The alpha-numeric sequence on the side of the rod should tell you what it it, Hot Rods usually have a number on them.

Could be '86 style piston with an '87-'89 style crank, requiring a spacer plate. Not necessarily a stroker.

hot rods also made a 4 mil stroker crank at one point. not real common though. it used the 87-89 style piston... i think.

iether way its still just a regular 250R piston, you will just need to figure out rather it is 85-86 style or 87-89 style. you could figure that out by measuring the pin location.

it has c.k. 109 B on one side an the other said it says hotrods id measure the piston but i wouldnt know what is what even if i did...

the compression hieght on a 85-86 style will be aprox. 38.0746mm/1.44 from center of wrist pin to top of piston. if you get any less of a distance, you have a 87-89 style piston.
