08 YFZ idling issue

My 08 YFZ is and always has started the instant you touch the button with out giving it throttle, it would idle smooth, and rev out to the limiter perfectly. I took a bad spill about 6 week ago, and broke my arm, the bike did a complete endo but landed upright on its wheels. Now that I am heeled and riding again, I have to get it some throttle to start it and it wont idle but revs out and runs perfect other wise. I took the carb apart and removed all the jets and cleaned and replaced them, with no change. What the Heck happened?

Exactly how long has the bike been sitting?

I Drained all the gas (110 Octane) from the tank and the carb. Put all new fuel, before firing it up. But yeah it set for 5 or 6 weeks.

Im not a carb expert by any means but if she flipped the floats could be in the wrong position. Other than that your guess is as good as mine.

unplug the tps

It was the TPS button inside the throttle assembly on the handlebars. Isn't there some way to unhook that thing altogether from the quad?

just leave it unplugged, seems like you moved the adjustment on that thing
