View Full Version : how do you pop the clutch basket off?

I need to get the clutch basket out, I have the clutch disc's out already but I am stumped on how I am to pull the rest of it off.

put a washer in the gears so they cant move then take the nut off to pull the clutch hub off (you need the plates in to do this)

I suggest using a penny instead of a washer.....It's soft and won't hurt the teeth of the gears.

x2 the penny, or bunch up a rag and stuff it in there if your cheep. (but the rag prolly cost more then a penny anyway)
