I just recently purchased a used DRR 90 knowing it was too much speed for my somewhat novice 6 year old. Thinking all along that it would be something he could grow into (speed wise). I had it throttled back over the weekend and he as loving life but after an hour or so the motor was not running well. I am thinking it wants run with more throttle.
So rather than tweaking the 90 to run like a 50 .. I'm thinking about just going ahead and trying to find a used 50 to swap for now and put the 90 is when he is a bit older.
Please let me know if you have a spare motor that you would like to sell.
