CHEAP LT250R Project Quad

I have an LT250R Quadracer that is definitely a project. The bike is whole other than the parts I removed (which are in a box with it). It's got an aftermarket pipe of some kind. It DOES NOT RUN. It's got electrical problems from what I know. It is 95% together, but has all of the parts to make it complete, but not sure about running. It's an '85 or '86, not sure which one. I do have a Clymer manual for it. It's been sitting for years. I was going to try to get it running for a friend of mine, but we decided to just get rid of it.

It definitely needs some work. I've got the book and some new parts for it (nothing major, just some brake pads and cables, etc, and I bought a newer hood for it).

I have to get rid of it before Wednesday because I am going to be gone for 3 months after Wed.

just fyi, that is an 87 or newer, worth a lot more than the 85-6. The 87 and up have a t shaped seat and the reed cage is in the cylinder jug where the 86 and older are in the engine case. The 87 was a lot more motor because it was the first year to have a powervalve in the exhaust. Just thought I would throw that in. You should really part it out on ebay, you will easily get over $800 for the parts you have there.

I am probly going to end up parting it out..

Or I will trade it for a set of 8x8 Honda bolt pattern beadlocks.

it should be on the frame rail below the motor on the left hand side, there was a sticker also with it on on the shifting side that had it on it on the vert. fame rail that ran next to your leg under the plastic.
