Cheapest way to get more power

I was wondering what are some fairly cheap ways to upgrade an 03 Z400 and get some more power out of it?

No lid on your airbox , Take out the baffle on your exhaust. You will have to rejet . But it's free?

Get an aftermarket filter and exhaust is really the best way if you have the cash as a start.

ditch the air box and stock air boot , get a ex boot ,will get ya 2 hp
