Fox Float X Evol Question?

I just purchased a set of new Fox Float X Evols, and was wondering, every time I go to ride my quad, the shocks always tend to feel like they stiffen up with me, so I have to push down on my quad one time so they work properly. Is this something that is common? or is there a problem with my shocks?

Do you mean if you let your bike sit for a bit they stiffen up on you? if so that is normal they all do that.

how do the fox evols compare to some elka tripple rates? are they better, the same, i assume they are lighter. and do you have to pump them up for every ride?
