I told the guy selling it I thought it was a 300EX.

He replied "Well its not, its a 400EX"

What is it?

Yup 300ex 100% sure. Like said previously it may have a large bore in it but looks like stock head pipe so not sure how that would work out? Other than the head pipe though it looks really clean.

i found that when i posted my 461'd ex on craigslist, that peeps would see mine, then edit their price, mine is clean, theirs werent, it was humorous, even one of the guys that didnt buy mine said he keeps seeing junk that is advertised as nice shape, only rode 20 hrs... lol.

even seen a few that claim to be scary fast, but are stock, stock pipe, stock everything...



then i had a bunch of idiots call me, and then like 4 really interested peeps.

and one 14 yr old that wanted to trade me his lord of the rings sword, a ps2, a gameboy advanced, and 1800 bucks.....


i dunno if i could legally sell him it, being as he is only 14.

and what the hell am i going to do with a lotr sword??

deffo a 300ex..it has the square tubing frame..a 400ex has round frame

I e-mailed him again to tell him that its a 300EX and this is the response I got

Tell him that the picture of the bike for sale must not be of the actual bike then as a 400ex has 2 exhaust pipes coming off the head and the one in the picture only has 1 just like a 300ex.

Ask him how dumb of a kid are you now

i looked at that ad before many times im on the market for a 400ex and he posts that like once a week. he had like 3 or 4 of the same ads on the indy craigslist for it at one time

nice quad but sorry to tell you its a 300ex. change your title and you might sell it. and you might also stop getting these emails from people.

craigslist is nice but its full of idiots. i sold a 83 gs850 about 3 years ago for 850. it was on there the next day for 1400. the clutch was bad and the tires were bald. he said that they were all new. i could see from the pics that it wasnt. he acutally used my pics. so after every post he made i made one telling all of the problems with the bike. i just didn't want to see someone get screwed over it. he finally sold it for 800. if he would have done all of the work he could have got 1400 easy.
