does anyone know where i can get those headlight covers that make the 400ex have evil eyes? Ive looked and havent had much luck..

make your own out of black tape thats what i did

masked off the whole front end, then masked off the lens'. used a quarter to trace the eyes, and just drew a diagonal line. then cut the traced lines with a box cutter, and removed the tape. so whatever will be painted is exposed, scuff it up with some sandpaper and painted it with glossy black krylon paint. did 5 light coats, waited to dry for about 2 hours, removed the tape, let dry over night, done. stands up to the heat from the head lamps and 5 days of trail riding. sorry for the terrible how to.

or you can just use eletrical tame so if you dont like it you can just take it off

I got these off ebay for like 5 bucks, then cut the bottom part of the cover out (leaving the outside edge so it holds tight)

these have been on for several years now with no trouble at all
(even running the headlight for hours on night dune rides)
