I'm getting ready to order some new rear tires for my R. I am leaning towards the Kenda Klaw XC. But the regular Razr is close to the same price. How do they compare for an all around tire? I don't race, just play. Mostly open fields, fairly smooth trails, jumping, etc. I'm going to be getting a 20x11x9 in either, and I have a esr 310. Will they both do the job just as well?

i run the RAZR but for your riding environment the kenda might be better. honestly iether will work pretty good for those conditions.

I'd go with the Kenda's. If you go with Razors the Razor 2's are the ones to get.

Depends on if you get the 4-ply or 6-ply? Yes, the 6-ply razr's would weigh more but I think the "bite" is better than the klaws. I have run the 6-ply razrs and now have the klaw mxrs on the rear.

If it were me, I would buy another set of razr's.

I just ordered a full set of 6 ply Claws for my project R and my Wife's 400EX. They are not heavy like I thought they would be. Only got a short little ride on them with the 400 and I was pretty impressed with them. Front would grab really well. The rear broke when I wanted them to and grab when I wanted them to as well. Got into a little deep water and mud hole and they pulled right through it with no hint of traction loss.

That was only one little short 10 minute play ride though. And I am sure they will act different on the R but I like them a lot so far.

I've not tried the Kenda rears (just the fronts), but I raced the Razr's a few times. I liked them until the tread got a little wear, then they wouldn't hook up quite the same. I usually use Holeshots now, but I might try the Klaws in the near future.

As far as Kenda, I like the Knarly XC's but they're 21X11X9 and also a 6ply. You can get them in a bias ply or radial.
