i finally got my 416 all together and now its leaking somewhere on the bottom of the motor.im pretty sure its from the gasket in between the cases.anyone have any ideas what i can do to fix it without having to tear it all down?im thinking about putting a line of rtv sealant along it.do you think itll work?

Do it right, tare it all down. It will be worth it in the long run.

I know you spent alot of money putting it together but itll prob be better on the safe side to tear it down and check the gaskets. Ive tried sealer before and it stopped the leak for a while but hard running will likely make it leak again. Just do it right so you wont be spending more money on a rebuild.

I have an idea, buy a 450, that will get rid of the leak:D Had to say it before someone else did:blah:
