Do any of you know how to bypass this on a 2007 electric start?

Murphy showed up at practice for us last night. The chain came off and cracked this piece so it won't start. We race Sunday so I am in a bind.

I can get one for Saturday delivery but it would be an extra $50. I have a few hours before I have to make that call. In the meantime I am calling different shops but it doesn't seem to be one folks stock.

Any help is appreciated.

We answered our own question. I am at work but had my oldest son try some wiring combinations. We clipped the assembly off (it was already busted) and all we had to do was run the green wire to ground and it starts right up.

Hope that this helps somebody else out.

The other wire is for forth gear I leave it open... ignition timing does get changed not sure if it is to keep the speed down or help it shift back down from the taller gear ratio that forth gear has!?!? Also leaving the wire to ground lets you start in gear and has saved my son in a race.

are you talking about the sensor under the chain cover? If so is it only 2 wires
