From what little research I've done so far, I've noticed that 86 and I think 87 rotors have a 4-hole bolt circle, the hub-spindle interface is a straight diameter, plus the spindle seems a little beefier and has removable tab for the tie rod end connection.
Is the 86/87 hub a steel forging instead of aluminum like on the 88/89? I know the 88/89's were lighter and I'm sure weight got cut in the front end as well. I would prefer the lighter setup of aluminum hubs of the later setups.
If anyone has either a set of 89 spindles or 86 hubs & rotors they want rid of, please let me know.
