WTB 1989 Spindles

Like the title says; I need a set of 1989 spindles. I have a combination of super clean 1986 spindles and 1989 hubs/rotors...which does me no good. I have some stuff on ebay right now under the i.d. "drtridr400ex"- if you see anything you want to trade for, let me know.

i have pretty fresh powdercoated 88/89 hubs and spindles w new bearings and seals hubs are red and spindles are black what you got too trade mine is an 86 in resto mode got these in a lot of parts i bought from a guy

Be careful when looking for 89 spindles. If you really want 89's you may be waiting for a while as they are not that common for sale. Make sure you get pics because 88 and 89s are not the same. Many people think they are.

The 88's have a stepped shaft and the 89's are tapered. You'd probably have better luck finding 88's to use with your hubs and use 88 bearings. Otherwise I'm sure you know you can use 400ex spindles and just get a caliper adapter if you want to use 250R calipers.

88/89 hubs are the same, the difference is in the bearing they use. The 89 uses a tapered bearing the 88 doesn't. I've had good luck using the pivot works bearing set on both 88 and 89 however.
