Can anyone tell me how to tell if my clutch springs are heavy duty or not. I don't know how to tell the difference.

There is a small press that does this. it works by compressing and looking at the guage. it is a press with a pressure guage on it. made to squish springs to find out the resistance while compressed and to check out the stiffness of springs. i am not sure how you can do this easily but that is the right way to do it. you could set up a scale to test them out. check out a manual to see how they say to test the springs and see if they are in spec still. that would be th best way to do it. steve
