Next time you get a new pair, put em on, and sit in the bathtub with em for 30 minutes, then get out and walk around for an hour or so with em on. It forms the leather to your legs.

Is Carolina Adventure World any good im actually planning to go there wednesday for the first time im only about an hour and half away

It is a great place to ride. Like all places, it can get dusty in dry conditions. They sell the WolfSnout there which is a breathing filter. I highly recommend it if you are the lead person. I wet mine before starting out and will wash it out when we take a break (which isn't that often).

The facility is fantastic...like a ski resort in many ways. The Frozen Angus hamburgers are actually really good too. I generally don't worry about taking food even during the week when the "food trailer" is closed.

If I were 90 minutes away, I would go there at least once a month.

how are the tracks and stuff? do they have a pro shop i need to buy some stuff ha

quad2xtreme
07-14-2009, 12:03 PM
the mx track is the worst.

The shop carries helmets, goggles, gloves, jerseys, some tires and rims, fix a flat, basic cooking stuff. They do not carry quad or bike parts. Give them a ring though and they can tell you if they have what you need. I can't remember if they carry chains. I don't think they have sprockets.

yeah i just needed to pick my gf up a helmet will they ***** if i let her ride on the back of my ltr 450? really are they that bad ha i was going just to check it out but if the tracks are that bad its kinda wasting my time ha

quad2xtreme

the worst track I've ever seen...really bad...not worth a 15 minute ride. I go there and stay for 2 days and trail ride and never take my mx quad with me. I have an 8.5' X24' trailer so it isn't a space issue. Even if I am there, it isn't worth riding. yea, that bad.

Funny thing is this track was designed to run one of the WPSA races. They don't groom it nor do they water it. You can check as I haven't been there in 2 months but it has been this way for several years.

I really like the place for trailriding but the mx track is a joke. The flat track is fun though. The drag strip is cool too. Occasionally, you will see some really fast quads there.

ok man i drove up to Carolina adventure world today somehow theyre not found on gps so i was 40 miles in the wrong direction its 2 1/2 hours to begin with not 1:45 haha the mx track was the worst thing i have ever seen...the trails suck...there was rutts so deep i had to put one tire on the outside and one in the middle we stayed for 2 hours and left haha when you head this way come on and go to Durhamtown that is the best place ive ever laid eyes on...MX tracks are awesome there...and by the way iono bout you but the mx track at caw the set up was awesome looked like one of the funnest tracks ive seen to ride but its just so unprepped man they have a step up i hit it 3 times wide open in 3rd on my ltr 450 and there wasnt even a lip to make it ha and i wasnt even gonna try that messed up track in 4th gear haha ...ha the prom night

I really like the trails at CAW but I am totally into hard core trail riding. Last time I was there they were all groomed and too easy. We were flying through most of them in 3rd and 4th gear. If you think those were tough, you should try Black Mountain in Harlan, KY. Those boys can climb like you wouldn't believe.

Told you the mx track sucked. I've seen better tracks built with shovels. Honestly, they should just close the mx track...it will never generate any interest in that condition. You have to build it before they will come...guess they haven't seen the movie. lol.

haha no they must not have nah man i can climb some crazy **** and ride some hard core trails those trails were just awful from 4x4 fourwheelers rutting it way deep some spots were like 2 ft deep of ruts no lie i was like wtf am i suppose to do with thsi haha
