I am putting a crf timing chain in and when I took the clutch apart I noticed that the inner clutch hub has groves in it where the clutch springs go. They are pretty deep. Would it hurt anything if I just out it back together? I know really soon I'll have to buy a new inner hub,but for now would it be wise to go ahead and run the old hub even with the groves? I just don't want one of the groves to break off and go through the motor. I am thinking maybe when I put the springs back in the hub they won't be exactly in the groves from before and they will wear off the groves and cause the metal to go in the motor. What do you guys think?

if your meaning where the spring seats, they will settle back in, they cant really move too much in there, but if its bad, you should just do it now, unless yo dont have the moolah$$$ .
