What do you guys think the best tranny oil is and the best engine oil is?

I sure this will sound like everyone else, but let me give my story.
I've been in the oil business for 12 years. I've seen more then enought test results and studies. I will only use Valvoline in my cars and if they had a readily available synthetic atv friendly oil I would use it.
I used to run Rotella, but my engine builder talked me out of it.
He showed me pistons, bearings, and all kinds of motor parts for hours. These were all parts from all kinds of situations. Stock bikes, bikes he built, bikes he owned, and all kinds of riding styles, oils, and breakin processes. It took hours but was the most informative oil info I've ever received. In fact my rotella piston and parts of my trans are now part of the collection.
I used to think anything would be fine, but I have held the parts in my hand and seen the differences in wear from different oils and breakins.
I will only use Dumonde Tech motor oil and trans fluid in my atv.
I will use a proper breakin process every time.

we've got one negative rotella and one postive!!!!

Its all i run. My vehicles, my toys.

Its tough enough for my dads 900hp peterbuilt, its tough enough for my quad. Plus, i have had zero problems in 5 years running it. My motor always looks and is 100% fine when its cracked open.

i use belray gear saver in clutch side and thumper in motor side

but i also use rotella 10w40 in motor side, and their gear oil in the clutch side, when i am low on cash

both seem to be the same, except i can buy both bottles of rotella for the price of one bottle of belray

and i just change the oil about every 2 hours at max, and it all seems to be fine

You ask one hundred riders, you'll get 100 different combinations.
What ever you decide, just change it often. Honda synthetic blend
engine side, Honda HP tranny oil (red bottle) clutch side. See another opinion. :D

I ran mobil1 20w50 full synthetic with lucas oil stabilizer in the engine. It worked great for me and it is also the only thing I will run in my personal car. In the tranny I used motul 3000 10w40 with lucas oil stabilizer. I never had any problems with this setup.

Rage atv recommends mobil 1 for the engine and honda hp tranny oil (red bottle)
Saw a guy on thumpertalk sayin that supertech 15w 40 diesel oil worked great for engine and tranny....It would scare me to try it:/

I run Pro Honda 10w40 in the engine side and Motorex synthetic gear oil in the clutch side. The motorex really helped my clutch life, but like others have said change both often. I change oil and filter after every race and long ride.
