Im looking for a good torque wrench 1/2" preferably. I have a Craftsman beam type now and its really hard to use and keep accurate. I was looking at some others on sears site and they all rate really bad. Craftsman Tools have dropped way off in quality from what I have heard and understood in the last 5-10 years. What else is there I know like snap on and mac but some of there wrenches were well over $500. Im looking to spend $2-300. Thanks in advance!

I know some people don't like them, but I like my Kobalt torque wrenches, and yes, they're clickers.

my experiences with craftsman torque wrenches suck, they never seem to be accurate and with something like a precision tool you get what you pay for, i have matco 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" all clickers and they work good but if you can afford it but split-beam torque wrenches, they hold accuracy better and dont need to be turned down to 0 everytime either.

My dad told me to check this company out and see what they have so I did. How does this look?

The Craftsman unit that I purchased is a POS. Wouldn't recommend to anyone...too much plastic.

I had two Craftsman wrenches( a 1/2 and a 3/8) and they both crapped out after less than 10 years and very little use. I now have three Snapon units that I got used on ebay. All three of them had very little use and were a lot cheaper than new.

I paid around $500 for my Snap-on Tech Wrench. Its the big 1/2" one, so the smaller one should be quite a bit less. Works awesome. I really like the angle function. It calculates angle as you ratchet, works good in tight places.

I usually dont condone myself to buy junk but I cannot justify spending $500 on one wrench that I wont use that often since I ride Honda! Not sure if I trust ebay for something like that either even though im sure I could save a ton of money.
