ticking noise coming from motor on a ltz 400..what is it?

Probably valves need adjusted or the timing chain.

after i put in hotcams i had a tick , ok.... big tick

They all tick their known for it and unless its slapping or clanking etc.. its perfectly fine its actually the cams ticking
