View Full Version : Handlebar Bend

I did ALOT of searching on what bend to get and cant seem to find what size i need to get. I am 6 foot and cannot seem to find which bend i should get.

What do you other guys have that are close to my height? I do not want to also buy risers or taller stem, just bars.

the bend you should get is one that feels comfortable to you...do you feel that the stock bars are too swept back? if so, then get a set with less sweep...too far away, get more sweep...it is all subjective...

I run a cr high with a +1 stem and im standing at 6 2. But for what your looking for id look for something like a whindham bend which is very high.

I went with the Pro Taper contour ATV high bend and a +2 burgard stem. It is very comfortable both while sitting and standing. I am the exact same height as you and am very happy with the set-up.

I got the pro-taper high bend, then added an extra half set of bar clamps for a budget bar riser. $12 on ebay for a set of handle bar clamps, plus some longer bolts from Lowes. Much more comfy, especially standing up.

When i had my stock stem i had these tag t2's i think they were quad bend. They worked great for me and im 6'2", they are fat bars so the mount adapters put them up about another inch. After i got my roll +2 stem the sat a bit to high so i had to buy different bars.

I'm selling my Renthal carmichael bend twinwall bars also. 50 bucks.. let me know if you want them.
