Thinking about going the week of July 20 and stay in Logan, WV. Does anyone have any numbers for hotels or motels in this area. We went a couple of years ago and stayed at the Logan Motel. I can't seem to to find any info. on this place now. Thanks.

Go to Hatfield McCoy website and you will find all the info that you are looking for at any trail system.

I found the motel that I was looking for. They have changed name and owners since I was there last time.

I didn't get to go. It's been 3 years since I've been. We rode sport bikes and had a blast. I think Rockhouse is the one we rode. Have a good time. One of these days I'll get back.

Bear Wallow/Dingess Rum is a great trail system. Don't waste your time on Waterways with 450s. Rockhouse is rocky in places; and can be pretty wet if there was recent rain. Rockhouse is the most popular trail so if it's dusty, heavier use will slow you down for the dust. But it's cool that you can ride the trail from Man all the way down to Gilbert, and then take a completely different way back. Bear Wallow is not usually crowded when we go down -- and we hit that trail every time we go down. Excellent riding at HM. Bear Wallow and the Rockhouse trailhead in Man are roughly 30 minutes apart.
