i have a nice 1997 300ex i have had the bike for about two years and i have added alot of parts about $2500 in it now there isnt a thing wrong with it other than the tail light is broken i have power washed this after every ride and it is very clean.
parts added
-moose racing handle bars
-spider grips
-werts clutch lever
-new head lights (very Bright)
-new gripper seat cover
-new stock 450r front tires
-maxxis razr rear tires with about 60% tread
-new front and rear sprokets
-new chain
-new boss bearings axle bearings and seals packed with valvoline full synthetic grease
-new rear brake caliper fully rebuilt
-billit block off plate
-new brake pads all the way around
-used black hood to replace the cracked old one
-professionaly rebuilt motor from bieal and narin cycles
bored honed cylinder with new wiesco piston and rings
new timing chain sproket and guides and auto timing chain tensioner all gaskets were replaced and the motor now has about 15hours on it and is broken in properly cost $1300
-hmf exhaust
-uni air filter
-new iner and outer ball joints
-new tie rods
-fresh oil change with honda oil and new oil filter
and im sure im missing something i have spent alot of time and money on this machine and the next owner will not be disapointed.
i would like to get $2500 out of it or a possible trade plus cash for a 05 or newer 400ex or 450r without any motor work.
i live in beaver falls PA 15010 about 45 min from pittsburgh.
