Quick question for you

im a little more familiar with paint than i am powdercoat pappy.

but i saw a few painted cars and quads with a average base coat, lets say white for example. then in the clear coat they put a pearl, and lets say blue for example, so when its done it looks like its white where the sun isnt on it, but has a nice blue tint where the sun hits it. can you do that with powdercoat?

They offer pearls in the base, but I havent seen any in a clear (that doesnt mean it doesnt exists somewhere)

IMO, if its a fancy job then paint still rules the roost but I can forsee powder catching it and atleast being as equal in the near future. I cant hardly keep up with alot of the new stuff out, but i dont pay alot of attention to it because usually the fancier it is the less resistant it is to the enviroments we run atv's in:p

Ive seen alot of those paints that change colors, some are pretty wild. Expensive too!!!

well, i have plans to redo a bunch of stuff this winter, and hopefully if my plan happens, i will probably send a bunch of stuff to you, i had my frame painted and im kicking myself in the arse now. PC imo looks just as good, if not better than paint(on most things) and its most deffinatly going to look better after six months cause the paint looks like crap then, and powder is still beautiful. i have your work and it looks really good!, and a hell of a lot better than my paint, lol. if and when i redo my frame, itll deffialtly be in powder. even if it isnt with pearl, i was thinking mirror black would look nice...
