4th of July Fireworks

We didn't have any big plans for fireworks, but ended up pulling over in a field to catch a display on our way home from friends. Without knowing where exactly things would be taking place, I got lucky and had a nice field of round haybales to use as some foreground objects

I love that first one. Saw a whole bunch of people setting off fireworks in va and wv on our way back.

I had spent the day with one of my best friends. We were discussing things and I mentioned that I was going to order a new tripod. He said..."why order one, you can have back the one you loaned me!"

I had loaned him a Bogen back in the early 90's and forgot all about it! It was pretty dang expensive back then, a whole weeks pay + some....and she worked out beautifully tonight!

It wasn't the biggest show i'd ever seen, but its the first show I think me and the family have been to watch since the kids were just wee pups:p

The cool thing about fireworks is that they change with every burst. I zoomed in a bit to roll the dice, which seemed to net me a few that might actually sell to one or two of the agency's I shoot for

If you could of been at the point in pittsburgh PA tonight you probably could of shot some amazing pictures. The finally this year was huge. As always awesome pictures.
