I have a pair of Alpinestars Vector Boots, they rock, but I need some advise on how to raise up the clutch shifter. The boots are real thick. Mabey lower the foot peg is better thanks in advance!

I had the same problem when I first got my Fox Forma's.. I just moved the shift lever up one spline (very easy).. Problem solved for me.

with the shifter moved up a little, how comfortable is it to ride? does it feel weird at all? also, would you have to do this with all boots? later

keep it real:devil

You'll be rockin and rollin when you move it up,,,pretty common problem. When I put my nerfbars on and started wearing boots,,I had to move mine up too,,no biggy and it'll fell just as natural as it did from day one.

on my 300 i had this problem because i like to sit way back on the seat.. i had to take my lever off and bend it in the vice.. when i raised it it hit the side case when i upshifted. here is a pic (hey im bored, nothing better to do when im in school) haha

When I rode my 300, I had the same problem. Of course after I moved the shifter up a spline its harder to shift without the boots. Unusually though the 400 is fine. Wonder if they made the 400 with larger feet or boots in mind. hmmmm

From my own memory I believe the stock 400ex lever is bent just like that, but I am not sure.
